  1. The website looks great! It was a good idea to make it look like the rest of the site. The colors work well and give the site new life. Keep up the great work, both in education and in technology.

  2. I agree. Your website does look great. The letter to your superintendant really said it all. For the last seven years I have also spent many of my “vacation” days reinventing the wheel to have my plans look like the latest education fad that has caught on. I teach in Georgia. Last year our measly raise was just enough to pay the rise in our healthcare costs. You and I both know that public education will not improve until we cut the ivory tower positions at the top and when parents begin taking the lead role in their child’s education.

I am just starting out with my blog aimed at elementary social studies teachers. So many of my colleagues simply don’t know their content and elementary students get shortchanged in the foundations of history. I am attempting to market some of my units, outlines, notes, etc. and my blog is a beginning to that process.

I look forward to reading your blog often. Feel free to check in on mine from time to time….http://historyiselementary.blogspot.com

    Have a good week!

  3. Feels very cohesive to me. The blog works very well as a stand-alone, and coordinates very well with the rest of the site.

I have zero history posts. Unless you count personal history. But one of these next couple of days, I’m going to post an awesome sentence diagram.

  4. Very well done. The colors work well. Check one thing – when you look at the comments on the permanent link page, a picture won’t appear on the sidebar. Very minor, otherwise, a wonderful job.
